This is a college transfer program for students who wish to combine coursework in several areas of interest.

Students may include a variety of courses or may concentrate on an area or areas of interest. Specific classes are then selected by students in consultation with their faculty advisor.

Students should meet regularly with their advisors to help ensure satisfactory academic progress. Changes in program curriculum require prior advisor or associate dean approval.

A student meeting the requirements for a degree with an area of emphasis in General Studies and in another area can receive simultaneous degrees if there is a 12 credit difference between the degrees. If a student is receiving one degree in a specific program and would like to receive a second (or third) degree, there must be a 12-credit difference in each program degree.
