For students who
have a special interest in writing and literature and for those who seek a
degree with an area of emphasis in English, the course offerings include
composition, creative writing, English and American literature, Shakespeare,
and modern drama.
For freshmen with superior writing skills, the English faculty offers honors sections. These courses challenge students with complex reading and sophisticated writing assignments.
