Administrative Assistant

customer_serviceThe Administrative Assistant program prepares students for immediate employment as key support personnel in an office environment. This program prepares students for positions that require technical office skills and that may involve supervising office operations, interacting with customers or clients, and managing a billing system or budget. Students receive training in using current computer technologies and are given the opportunity of earning certification as Microsoft Office Specialists.

According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, administrative assistants and secretaries rank among the largest occupations in the U.S. economy. Graduates will enter the job market with strong high tech, management, and communication skills.
